Vote Yes to Fontana School Referendum on April 7, 2026
Our school needs your help!
Fontana J8 School District is facing a financial challenge that is largely out of local control.
Like Fontana, Reek and Big Foot school districts, and many others rural districts across Wisconsin, receive little or no state aid. As a result, we are disproportionately reliant on local property taxpayers to fund both general operations and special education.
At the same time, the current non-recurring referendum is expiring. Without replacing it, the district will face a funding gap that cannot be addressed without significant cuts.
This referendum is about maintaining our school and protecting its future.
